I'm 5'3 with shorter legs and the shaft size (14") and circumference (14") were perfect. I e-mailed and asked about the sizing and ordered true-to-size 7.5. With socks, they fit perfectly. The circumference on the 7.5 is roughly 14 inches. I was a little concerned because of my thick calves, but they fit! I don't have too much room leftover so I personally can't fit my phone in the pocket inside the boot. They're not too snug though - I can fit my hand in! I love the cream color on the "ostrich" design.
